MILOM : A new major step

On March 17^th, the so-called MILOM instrumented line was immersed at the Antares site. Its goal is to continuously measure the sea environment parameters. Its optical beacons will be used for the time calibration of the final detector at the nanosecond level.

This line was connected on April 12^th. Data taking goes on.

MILOM, une nouvelle étape majeure

Le 17 mars, la ligne appelée MILOM fut immergée sur le site d’Antares. Son but est de mesurer en permanence les paramètres de l’environnement marin. Ses balises optiques permettront d’étalonner à la nanoseconde près le détecteur final.

La ligne a été connectée le 12 avril et la prise de données se poursuit.
